Those are some awesome sheds, I am not looking forward to having the snakes out and about again.  Last year we hunted a place one afternoon and while riding horses we must have seen a dozen or more snakes.  I was staring at the ground every step I took when I got off that horse haha.

Those stumptails are mean SOBs.  I've had them try to strike me rather than move out of the way when I'm riding by on my 4 wheeler.  Those sheds got some mass to them.

We have had 80 degree temps for a few days but not seen any rattlesnakes yet, how warm does it have to be for them to come out ?

I think I'm starting to feel lucky.  I had to swim across the Bazor River to get to my dogs last night. Didn't even think about snakes.

Nice sheds you found there!

Turbojet where is he sellin those snakes...Most we're gettin right now is 4-5 / lb.  Too hot for hog doggin sunday afternoon so we went snake huntin.  If we could get 9-10 / lb that would make it worth drivin a little farther.
