Thought I'd try Andrew's (txhogdoggers) Nasty dog out since he is having to sell him so we took him, Rebel, & my trigger pup out. All 3 dogs winded the hogs at the first place we hunted and ran the group a little over 2 miles before Rebel sat down and bayed. Nasty wasn't far behind and my 8 month old pup fell out of the race at about a mile. Got this hog caught about 300 yards from the highway. We headed down the dirt road to another place and right before the gate rebel winded 'em off the box and started choppin' so we pulled in the gate and cut him and Nasty off the box. They started this boar in a hellacious plum thicket/briar patch across the coastal and cotton field and bayed after a short run. We had the rookie bulldog, along with one solid catchdog. We drove within 200 yards and walked them to about 30 yards away. They both went crashing in and we had one hell of a fight. This pig worked the dogs over pretty good so we didn't get to take any pics trying to get them to water in a hurry after being caught for a good bit before we could crawl to them. We never found our American Bulldog pup, but he was caught when we got there. All the other dogs are doing fine and we are going to go look for Bruiser again in the morning. Hope he's alright, he was starting to make a hand.

Forgot a few things. Here is our big American pup after the first hog tonight. He is 7-8 months old & that is hog blood he's covered in, not his. He caught ear, and HARD! Hope Pee Wee can find him. Another thing, Nasty is a real nice dog and if I don't get him from Andrew it will only be because I have 5 pups out of my Rebel dog that I have high expectations for. He is definitely worth feeding and will only get better with age and exposure. I am going to hunt him for a few more weeks before I decide for sure, but I am really picky on my dogs and he would probably make a real good lead dog for a lot of people. Lastly, I just wanted to apologize to Landon (purebreedcolt) for waking him up with an urgent question lol. Thanks bud.

Thanks Noah, Wildcat & Ryan. Josh and his brother went out this morning and found him laying next to the pig asleep lol. We figure he must've overheated after being caught for so long. This was only his 3rd pig in the wild and he isn't in very good shape. Here's a picture from this morning and if you look in the background you can see the crap we had to crawl through.
