here is the official information on our first annual East Texas Wild Hog Round Up.
this should be a good event with all prizes sponsored by East Fork Hunting Supplies so that there will be an actual 100% pay out with no exceptions.
we will have some supplies and food there.
1st Annual East Texas Wild Hog Round-up
East Fork Hunting Supplies will be hosting its first annual wild hog round up, February, 16-19 2012
100% Hog Dog
100% Catch and Tie
100% Pay Out
Pay out break down
50% and belt buckle to heaviest 5 hogs
25% heaviest hog
15% 2nd heaviest 5 hogs
10% 3rd heaviest 5 hogs.
Teams that weigh in hogs will earn one chance per hog weighed in to receive a Sport Dog 3225 shocking system.
Scales will be open February, 18 2012 @ 7:00 am -9:00 pm and February, 19 2012 7:00am -3:00pm
Rules
4 man limit per team.
Team members are the only ones permitted to actively participate in the hunt
Substitutions must be made before 12:00am February, 16 2012
For the purposes of this hunt, hogs are defined to be feral, free-ranging, wild hogs which have not been previously held, trapped, pen raised, and released for the purposes of being hunted in this contest and must not have been hunted from within a Hog proof fence.
Teams Must remain together, unless split bays. Teams must immediately regroup after each catch.
No traps allowed. Dogs only!
Only Live, Wild hogs will be weighed in.
All hogs weighed in will become property of East Fork Hunting Supplies.
Hunting Starts at 12:00 am Thursday February, 16 2012
No hogs will be accepted after 3:00 pm on Sunday February, 18 2012. No Exceptions
Hogs Caught outside of the official contest duration will not count
Must have Valid Hunting License to participate
Any contestant found to be cheating, attempting to cheat, or in violation of any Texas Game Law will cause the disqualification of the entire team and forfeiture of any and all entry fees. The perpetrator and/or team may also be banned from future contests.
Winning Team Members may be subject polygraph at random. Refusal of a possible polygraph will result in immediate disqualification. No Exceptions!
