Well this weekend started out great! Friday caught a 200+ boar hog in a field with some puppies no cd and was very proud! Saturday went to start a new cd and work some pups on that hog.... Went real well my buddy brought his cd sampson to help get the new one going which worked like a charm! And got my new cd introduced to his new job.. we we loaded dogs back in the boxes and my buddy tied sampson in the truck bed it was hot so we were hurrying to get the vest and collars all picked up when we came around his truck sampson was hanging..... I ran over in hooked him and gave cpr mouth to.mouth.. (not even my dog) to see if I could get him back all he had was one kick... That's all she wrote. Man it tore me up to see that. I never tie dogs like that and I let my buddy down by not stoppen him this all happend with in 2 mins... So now I will never tie a dog to a bed of a truck Sux I had to watch a buddy lose a good dog to learn a lesson... RIP sampson!

On a good note hr did have 5 pups that Sunday nite so time will tell if one of them will help fill his spot.....

sorry to hear that man! hopefully those pups will turn out good for yall! i had the same thing happen with my cd this winter. we caught our biggest hog and brought my cd back to truck, tied her to the top of dog box, walk back to drag hog to truck and by the time i got back she was hung and already stiff.. broke my heart, that was my first and only cd. good luck with the pups!
