Get you a small pig about 20lbs let your dog see it if she gets excited great if not get another dog or pup to bay it she then gets excited good let her go see what she does if she barks its ok first hog if she catches let her catch for a little bit pull her off tell her she did good then put her up for about a month and repeat her teeth will set somewhere between 9months and a yr old just depends on the dog now don't put her on a big hog that'll sling her around while caught that's what breaks and messes up teeth once she has caught a few smaller hogs let her set till she's around ten or eleven months old during this time is when you work on her ground work leading loading getting her to come when called now at at ten or eleven months old she's ready to be put on a bigger hog around 100 to 150lbs let her catch one that size once or twice now time to start hauling her to the woods to learn to go to a bay when you get a bay send her with a experienced catch dog usually a couple times of doing that she'll figure out bark means hog hope this helps you out
