Read in todays paper where the state of Texas has decided that we have over a 1/2 million gators and only one authorized hunter, so, once you take a class you can start killin' them stinky lizards and even receive payment from landowners for your time and effort. I will be signing up as soon as I know when, where, and the what of it all.
If someone else gets the info first, please update us. The area I hunt is infested with gators and they prevent me from hunting some prime hog habitat.

About time....the only nature predators after about 5 ft. are other gators....we probably will get to see more ducks as well as other aquatic type birds...probably even more coons and fish...but it will make it easier to hunt where the gators are thick. Hopefully we will be allowed to thin them down some...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...

Kill 'em all.... no need for a giant prehistoric aquatic predatory lizard to be lurking anywhere near humanity.
... those that wish to protect them... I'd like to see how their perspective changes when one of their kids gets killed by a gator... after all, it's just "natural selection"... guess your kid must have been a weak specimen... couldn't swim fast enough I guess...
... the unfortunate part is the state has realized they can make money off of gator harvest... it is therefore to their advantage to allow the population to get out of control in order to SELL MORE TAGS....
Kill em all.

Your sure right about that. It is a BIG NO NO here to be caught with a dead gator. Even if it was hit by a car. And gator tags are EXPENSIVE!!!!

According to the article, no tags, just a FREE training class, and your legal to kill...... Just waiting on specifics........
