just got off the phone with one of my hunting partners He went last night and had huge group of pigs.
He said right out of the gate they caught a big russian boar and kept him alive. He said the dogs took off again and showed bayed about a mile away.
When they got to the bay, the dogs were baying a group of about 15 hogs!! Said it sounded like drums His dog are real catchy and he said each time one of them would catch a hog, the other hogs would jump on that dog and get him off.
He was finally able to get an open shot and killed two hogs. The pigs scattered with the shots but his dogs split up and were able to catch 3 of the hogs before they could take off.
It was a good night for them, 6 hogs total, (1 alive, 2 shot, 3 stuck) Many of the dogs were cut but not bad, only one dog got it bad and he got cleanly castrated! But everyone is doing well this morning.
Best thing was the land owner was extremely happy and for sure will be callig him back
I wont be missing Thursday night hunts anymore!!!!!!!!!!
