I put Sadie on her first hog this weekend... a little boar around 40-50 lbs full of attitude. It took all of about five seconds for her to latch on. He rolled her into the corner and backed off... when he came back again she grabbed the jowl. I picked her up above him and she latched onto an ear and I had to choke her off... first time to ever see a hog! I took her out and she tried to tear the pen down to get back at him. Put her in one more time and she grabbed an ear again and locked down.

She came from Realdogs out of Hipockets line of bulldogs. I was really impressed with how fast she "snapped". I've been around several starting catchdogs and never seen one turn on this fast.

Here's a few pics I took of her yesterday... she's around 35 to 40 lbs.

that dog looks alot like one my buddy mike just got(different mike) .She is acually a stray ,she was found on the side of the road there was i think 3 or 4 of them. She was the only female so they snatched her up.They guess she is about 5 months or so ,anyways she is already catchin like crazy.Cut vest is a lil to big though.Put her in the pin with some 80 #'s and it has been all over since then. She has caught 2 in the field not on her own ofcourse ,but she locked on.The first was that sow that clay posted and the second was about 75 pounds or so.Imissed that hunt but they said that they cut her loose about 100 yards away and they said by the time they got their they couldn't see her.The hog done rolled over on her and she was locked down on her back completely under water, not sure how long but they snatched her up and she was still locked down.

Allright fella's... if y'all remember I put an add up for these pups on here and a few other boards!

Y'all just missed out! Tongue

Matt, Matt, Matt... :'(

But seriously, our good buddy Chris (Cactuflage) turned me onto Scott and these dogs and gave me the history on them. I hate raising puppies because I started the hard way... with puppies. Putting in all the time and money not knowing what you'll end up with. But it was hard to pass on one of these, out of many generations of proven dogs.
