Marines I see as two breeds, Rottweilers or Dobermans, because Marines come in two varieties, big and mean, or skinny and mean. They're aggressive on the attack and tenacious on defense. They've got really short hair and they always go for the throat.

one or two jagds I hardly ever got runners when i just hunted a jagd.The hogs arent intimidated by them and they dont run.

Its fun using catch dogs but my first choice is bay and shoot. There is nothing like walking on the river bottom with 2 or 3 dogs by yourself. Just easing around quietly. All you need is a pistol and a garmin.  Plus, if you have young dogs or new dogs you can let them work and see what they do... good and bad.  |
