I have a old plott hound that i have noticed has slowed down some over the last year and it seems like his hips hurt when he does. Some days he is fine and goes all day other days he goes then seems to carry his back legs like he is sore after just a short time. I was wondering if there is anything i can give him to help with his hips and joints?

I have a rat terrier that's about 14 yrs. old now. A year or so ago he started moving kinda slow in the mornings and just didn't have the regular zip that he always had, but I do understand that he's an older dog and that's to be expected I reckon. I saw this ad on TV for Dr. Frank's pain relief for dogs,....never been one to expect much out of stuff off TV. But I decied to try this stuff so I ordered it online and started him on it. You put a couple of squirts in their water bowl, they like the taste of it seems like. I almost hate to admit it, but the stuff works....Ole' Speck was jumping and running around almost like a young dog. Don't know what's in it......only says that it's a homeopathic,....but whatever it is it works for my dog. Try it and see if it works on your dog....hope it does as well as it did on mine.

I have a friend that had an old wt. pulling dog that was getting stiff like that and he started using Glucosamine/MSM and in a couple weeks the dog was moving great again.

Our vet recommended Triple Flex ( glucosamine, chondrotin, msm) It is for humans but we give our older gyp one a day and it has helped her. If you buy the dog glucosamine it is more expensive.
