Going camping this weekend. Got two gravity feeders. Put one in puppy pen tonite. Got home from steak dinner and puppies are like basketballs, lol. I like pudgy puppies but this is crazy, lol. I'm thinking they will equalize while we're gone and not keep stuffing themselves. Am I right? Any health issues to be concerned with? I know there gonna get runs but that's no big deal. Anything else?   |

From my personal experiences, they'll level themselves out lol. I wouldn't worry. Pups are usually pretty good about that. Now adults? That's a different story! I have some adults that will eat themselves sick if I let them!

So got back today and the girls looked great, not fat at all, just healthy. First I thought they might have ran out of food but as soon as I put Jasper back in the pen ( took him with us) they both went to the feeder and gorged themselves, lol. Look like basketballs again. Guess it will even out again once their use to him being back.
