Nice part about huntin out of the truck, is the ability to be closer to the cooler!!  Grin

LOL, true. This might be a disadvantage to walking or horseback.

Very true, but there arent many walk/horse friendly huntin places around me.. Normally its crashin through THICK palmetto heads..  We do walk hunt alot though..  Thats when little brothers come in handy... They wanna hunt they have to work (cooler runs)  Grin

We walk hunt most of the time, we rig the dogs out of the Ranger some and the standers use atvs also, but mostly walk. A horse wouldn't be of much use to me....waaaay too thick where we hunt to ride a horse.

Horseback 99% of the time. We use pretty gritty curs no and no bulldog. Its a little tough dragging tied hogs long distances and they chew up ropes draging from the top jaw, but you'd be surprised how much farther you can ride threw the woods horseback than on a weeler. Plus no running you ride rite up to the bay, step off your horse, and on the hog.

Road the dogs out of the truck sometimes, walk most of the time, free cast ALOT, and hunt off horseback sometimes
