Bought a new cut vest due to other being excessively worn. The new vest is 3 ply kevlar without leg gaurds or attached collar. It really restricted my CD first time out with the new vest, she got rolled and had alot of trouble getting back up and seemed to be very hard for her to turn her head trying to grab ear. Has anyone else had these issues? I don't wanna have to spend another $90 but I will if I have to. Dogs gonna get cut up if I don't figure out a way to make it less restrictive or break it in somehow. Suggestions welcomed!

Put fabric softener and water in a bucket and soak it. Helps to break it in faster.

Softener is no miracle just helps break it in faster. Adjust the straps and let the dog wear it around to break it in and get used to it.

my four layer Titan is not restrictive at all. I am better it is a felt vest. Plus, where did you get a three layer for under 100 bucks?

Pm resent cantexduck :Huh?

I loosened the straps and have her wearing it now around the yard about two hours a day. She seems to be moving a lot better in it. Haven't tried it again in the woods yet but when I do hopefully the results will be a lot better.
**My lack of knowledge was prolly more to blame than the new vest.**
BTW I said earlier in this post $90 just to clear it up for anyone else it was $105. But the vest is kevlar
