Some of the best catchdogs I've seen have been PitxRidgebacks.We used a male Ridgeback over a Pit gyp.Should be some gooduns.Dang sure cant beat that price.With some of these prices on catchdog pups,I've been seeing.You sure got yours at a bargin price,ought to be just as good,or better than those high dollar pups.

I cant speak for the man that has these dogs.But the RidgebackxPit dogs that I have used could have went either way.I am not a big fan of running a catchdog off a lead,but I think they would work either way.I think it depends on the Ridgeback.The male that we had was a CATCHDOG,no bark to him,no matter what.We ran him on the ground all the time,and thats what got him killed.But we were young and didnt know any better.I sure wish I would have known better,he was a great dog.

they should make some good dogs I run everything on the ground but all of rr will catch and are short to medium those dogs will probaly be able to wind their own pigs I would like to have one but I got ridgeback/ Dane puppies coming shortly
