What r the pros an cons to letting people breed to your dog? I've had a couple people ask to breed to one of my rcd's an I think I'll let them breed to him if the gyps work ok, u never know when he could get on a bad boar an not come home so at least their would be some out their by him. I've seen on hear a number of times people having a good catch dog or strike dog for that matter that got killed either hy hunting or on accident an their was never any pups by them. Weather it was from the owner waiting for the perfect gyp to breed to or they just didn't need any replacements. What's your thoughts? Thanks Hugh

I wouldn't breed to just any gyp...she had to be built right and hunt right and come from good parents...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...

I waited 5 years to find one that i thought would match up good with mick, she does not belong to me so i will only get a pup or two from the litter but i will be a lot happier to have some of his bloodline on the yard before something bad happens,he aint a cat but has definately used his 9 lives!! U better ask uncle clint if your allowed to keep any more pups around there haha.

Yeah Jimmy I don't want any more but I'll let them breed to him just to have some of his blood out their, I was just seeing if their was any reason why people wouldn't let the dog breed outside gyp. An the r proven an still hunting an all three r differend size an shape dogs not all the style I would breed for my own use but work never the less
