I was able to meet up with Mr. Mason this weekend to get a little bit of training in for my potential catch dog Petey.  I would like to say that it was very nice to finally meet Mr. Mason, and that he is every bit the person that people say he is.  Wish I could have stayed longer, but I had to get out around noon.  Thanks again for letting me come out and do some hog work with you, I appreciate it a lot!

Gangly,

I think Petey will make a fine catch dog, he sure did the job a few weeks ago on that boar hog with the bad attitude. We need to catch up again and make a hunt.

Thanx for the replies guys.  I'm happy with him and wont be doing any more training, just hunts when available.  We'll definately have to do another hunt sometime, looking forward to it. Smiley

Enjoyed meeting you and enjoyed the help with my bay dogs in training and your catch dog is going to do well.

Look forward to doing it again.
