I had a boar hog in a set of cowpens at my house, he was around 150 pounds and almost 2 inches of teeth. Had a pup on the outside of the pen, he'd never seen a hog before, so I was trying to get him interested a little bit. The hog was fresh out of the woods from the night before, he didn't have any bluff to him, he would come to ya when he saw you. I got up on the gate, he came to me trying his best to catch me. I kicked at him a few times, on about the third kick my knee popped! I'm trying to hold onto the fence the best I can and muster up enough strength to pull myself up. Was really in too much pain to be "scared". But it could have turned out to be a pretty bad deal.

Been a little un nerved a couple times once in sorghum that you could not see 2 feet in with dogs baying teeth popping and cd turned loose and no hit from him ended up hog broke with all dogs gone finally they all came back befor garmins lol.  Then we hunt a high fence place with some BIG hogs and am allways nervous just setting foot in there.  Had a big hog bayed in a cactus and thought it was a pigglet in here didn't think a big hog could fit in under this dang cactus and any ways he broke and there was about 7 or 8 of us and everyone hit trees like squirrels.

It's not the catching that gets me rattled, it's letting one go.

Baying a boar hog in his bed in a tallow tree flat, cutting his nuts and letting him go sucks. There's nothing to get on and he is fresh and pissed.

Was hunting a place in roxton soon as we got out the truck we heard some boars fighting just inside the woods we hurried an let the dogs go an the fight was really on. Sent the bull dogs in and got almost to them when all the dogs except the bull dog came running out with a whole herd of hogs hot on thier rear ends i couldnt find a tree to climb so i hug up to a big oak on a creek bank!! Sounded like a freight train coming through the woods an a few bounced right iff the tree i was hugging!!! Whoo i never been so nervous as when i seen the dogs give up and run!!!!! Ended ip having to carry out the bull dog she was cut to shreds and almost died!!!
