Me and ole Kyle got out this morning. Dropped Horn , Bell and Ranger was not 10 mins ole Horn was shaken the leaves on the Oak trees. Went to them had a little 125lb boar bayed in the creek Horn , Bell and Ranger took care of him . Was not ten mins ole Horn rattled off again took care of another 125 lb boar . Then the dogs take off to the main creek in the back were ole big boy lives, done give us the slip once before . Bout five mins and Horn is shaken the leaves on the trees again Bell , Ranger right there the big old boy is doing his thing again walkin with them so he is about 60 yds from us bloodweeds 15 foot tall cant see your hand in front of your face I turn Bad Bo loose hoping he would get to him but the old boar hog is a smart one I guess he heard Bo coming and took off . The dogs could not get him to sit up and we went about 3 mile in the heat with Bo trailing them the whole way . Me and Kyle had to take the highway to get to the other gate it showed all dogs treed 950 yds we had three gate to go threw took a little bit by the time we got there the ole boar hog had shaken the dogs and was gone it was hot hot hot . Had a hell of a time this morning felt good to get back in the woods.

Sounds like a good hunt Jimmy! Good stuff... Good thing you didn't have to jump down in that creek cause it sure doesn't look easy to get out of...

Yall know what I was really surprised and impressed more he did handle the heat the way he did today with a full catch vest on. I got to tell you I was dang sure worried when that big ole hog took off before Bo could get there it was a long way threw a lot of thick stuff me and Kyle had to take the long way around on the highway. I was sure nuff thinking what yall were thinking 'Not good at all" while we were headed there sure did it surprised me when he was no hotter than the bay dogs when we got there. That ole boar hog is a wise one man he has been around for a while and it sure nuff shows.
