To the folks that live/hunt around brazoria or matagorda county. Who is your vet of choice. My family has used John Ed in sweeny for a long time, but he sure is high. Looking to find another hunter friendly vet in the area that won't charge an arm and a leg.

I have been using brackeen for about 14 years. They will sell you field supplies as well.

I heard about the man in richwood. He sewed up a gutted dog for Matt for like 150 and kept her over night. He is the one that retired. Just wondering who everyone else used. Gotta go see John Ed in the morning and I know it will be high guess ill work out some payments or something. Had a good dog get wrecked bad last weekend. Everything is healing real nice but I found something very wrong. Has a small skin cut right behind the ribs well couldn't see at the time I sewed it up that the stomach lining must have been torn further down. Part of the intestine is between the stomach and the skin. Won't eat or crap but other than that acts normal with a huge nott on its side

dr. johnson got the job done...another vet might charge 1000 dollars or more and he would charge 150 or 200...to bad he retired...I used him for about 30 years but only for the what I couldn't do and he never made an issue out of it...
