My Tweety dog came dog with ehrlichia again. First got it back in November and tested negative after long round of antibiotics. The vet said it can go dormant in the spleen or liver and resurface at a later date... well it did.

Now another month long treatment and a blood test to see if it clears up. She also wants pull blood again in six months to be sure. In rare cases it never clears up and she even had to remove the spleen on a dog one time... hopefully Tweety will knock it this round.

Luckily we caught in the early stages both times... she should be fine.

I'll swing by one evening on my way home.
