I usually give 3-5 days of antibiotics ( penecillian or genomiacin ). You can spray vetricin or a 50/50 mix of bleach and water, or cut n heal. They all work good and there are also many other options you can put on it.

Just haul him to the vet it will only cost a 100 bucks.... My buddy's bulldog got cut pretty bad and the vet fixed him up and it was real cheap...

Betadine,......works great and won't hinder the healing like peroxide which 'boils' the cut and hinders healing. I keep Betadine concentrate in by box and just add some to a bottle of water and shake it up.

I'd like to have that vet near my house. My bulldog got in my hog pen with two big boars early one morning and got cut up more than I felt comfortable to try and doctor. It cost about 430 bucks. Even though he was free he is now my most expensive dog in my yard lol.

I would use a betadine/iodine mix , a round of antibiotics, wouldnt waste my time with pen, I would start off with amox. 1 / 250mg every 12hrs. , keep the cuts clean, and dont let it scab up, it needs to heal from the inside out.
I am no vet by any means, but these are things I would do.
