Hopefully I can get the pics on here in the next day or two it was a dandy roughly figure it weighed 300 lbs had a 3 1/4 and 3" tusk
buddy of mine had it caught but it in so thick of brush we had to kill it and was a barr caught a few more smaller ones it one hell of a hunt had three different bays going at the same time. Got to go back in the morning and find two dogs they got out of reach of the tracking unit. We left shirts there hopefully they will be there in the morning. By the way four curs had the barr caught.

We found him or should I say he found us , we hunted the whole place today that we lost him on and right as we were going to load the other dogs up to go home he came up from behind and jumped in the box. Didn't get any hogs but it was worth the trip to get him back.

Glad to hear you got the dog back safe and sound. I didn't want to post this until you got him back, as we lost a cur on a Thursday night several years ago. We looked half the night and no dog. Went back Friday after work and no dog and no dog tracks on top of our truck tracks in the roads.
Went back out Sat morning and saw buzzards.....found him where he had apparently been killed by a big hog on Thursday night...and we never heard a thing. This is what made me buy a tracking unit. Up until then I never used one. Now I won't turn a dog loose without a cut collar and tracking collar.
Sure am glad your dog made it back safe, its a bad feeling to have one missing and not knowing.

Thanks crackerc I was starting to think that was going to be my story too. Especially when the only other time I lost him I found him the next morning on the shirt I left for him. This time he never come to the shirt and didn't see any signs of anything I was sure thinking he died from over heating or hog. Sorry yours didnt make it. Im working on getting a tracking unit but its going too take a bit to get the funds.
