Yea I know all about em, you prolly wouldnt wanna try to hunt hogs with one, Ive thought about it. I moved to Texas from Oregon about a year ago, my aunt and uncle owned a goat dairy all growing up and they breed anatolians. These dogs are natural killers. unfortunetly for us hog hunters they naturaly kill rodents, coyotes, cats, and anything else that will threaten their livestock. my uncle has never trained one of these dogs, they just know what to do, Iv thought about bringing one down here myself from Oregon but figured if i was going to pay that much money for a dog I would find somthing I was sure I could trash break.

I can get you any info on these dogs you need, I can even get you one if youd like, Purebred, Papered or unpapered. 830-672-4174 Chris.

Only Anatolians I have been across had major human aggression issues.  They were used as LGD's.  As a result of my experiences with them, when I needed LGD's I ran Great Pyranees.   They too had a natural guarding instinct, and they were friendly, but in my opinion they were just about untrainable.

my neighbors down the street have around 20 anatolians and great pyrenees....they look after their 2 somethin thousand goats down there near the river...I know they have human agression because me and one of my neighbors dad were walkin back in the woods behind their pasture one day and we spotted one dog that must have got loose, he went crazy and started snarling and barking at us then he ran at us...luckily my neighbor had a rifle.

what were yall doing to those goats,,dont you know those dogs protect them
 laugh laugh

we have had 3  great pryenese,,one of wich his job was to keep an eye one the boys,, they are great protectors and very trainable
we had dax for 9 years before he went to the great goat herd,  Sad
when we would go fishing at the river the boys would wander off and ifthey got to far for him. he would go round them up
and bring them in closer,, body checking them all the way back.
and they are one of the foundation breeds of the dogo
