6 months is way to young to use a trashbreaker to shock em in my opinion, you risk ruining her in a hurry. I know that you said to tone her, i just wanted to make the consequesnes of shockin a young dog clear, not talkin down in any way, just some friendly advice.

IF you decide to use it make sure you use the tone ONLY. It should be pretty simple to accomplish what you are after but you have to make it an everyday routine. An couple hours or so before you feed her put the collar on her,( you don't want her to come to think that the collar means food or else everytime you put it on her it will be the only thing on her mind, you only want her thinkin the "tone" means food)  5-10 minutes before you feed her start toning her a cpl times a minute up until feed time. I'll bet you money that within 2 to 3 weeks tops when you start toning her in the woods she will come straight to you lookin for dinner!

Hope it helps.

Yeah not gonna shock her anytime soon I know it will ruin a dog quik I have been working with her a couple days now she still don't really know what the tone is but I keep working her she will come around what we did with the guys dogs I hunt with was put them on a rope and let them get 100 feet or so out an beep them and pull them back to us and now they will be 1800 yards out and come running back when we beep them but the food idea is a great idea as well this is my first time to train a dog by myself I'm only 18 I have a finished dog just haven't trained one yet it's still a work in progress thanks for your help
