My stag doesn't man handle the hogs if the are big he catches them an kind of guides them around in circles not really trying to hold them still he calmly stays next to them goin around with them , he ran this one down grabed his the hog on the nuts to stop him then when the hog turned to fight him
He caught an ear , when he catches the ear he stays caught hard an is hard to get off , but of s hog wants to run he will grab back end to make them stop or fight , he is a nice tool to have on open ground or on bays that keep breaking , he will not push through alot of dogs to get in to catch a hog though but he will stay caught if the other dogs crowed him

Great job swampy! I hope you find a really nice female to breed him too,he has proven himself well. That is if hes not neautered. I will be looking for a pair of nice working stag pups this fall/winter.

Great catch and nice stag where did you get that vest? I need one for mine he's just gettin started good. I wanted one to use as lead in also or open field and he is just that. Caught some good ones lately with him. It's awesome watching them run hogs down. I'm wantin to cross mine over my dogo gyp in the future too
