We had a nice hunt today. It started with a stalk on a little Audad ram, I got with in 350yds and had a nice shot across a canyon.

Some of my old hunting partners came up from Lubbock with their girl friends and we took them on their first hog hunt. I loaded 4 of my best strike dogs and Jasper and off we went. We roaded for about an hour dogs were hunting well. Smokey winded and beet Jessie to the hog, first time for her to out strike the old man. My young dog Kat was quick to the bay and they held for a little bit and broke, I sent in Wiesle for a little more stopping power and they got him shut down for good, about 3/4 of a mile away. I sent jasper from 200 yds out and we caught a nice little boar, with good hooks, about 180 lbs. The girls enjoyed the hunt. Dogs all in good shape.

Nice audad Paul.  Glad to see you got one, those are really neat animals.  Also, I"m glad to year you got little bulldog back in one piece.  Sounds like the little rascal found himself a willing adversary & went at it.  I'm proud that the little fella made it out.

Looks like a fun couple of hunts.
