I can't remember what the stuff is called that works great to keep insects off of cattle and such. I think it was creo... something. I believe I can get it at a feed store. I have not used it in a few years but I need some. So someone help my brain out

Is it cresol ur talking about.? Keeps flies and gnats off of cows etc? I think thats what my papaw used. He had it where the cows just walked under the rope soaked in it. Me and my brother got caught playing on it and I don't think I got bit by a mosquito til I was a teenager LOL

Not if it is illegal Obviously very watered down. But I also want to put it on the wood around the kennels because I know it slows down rot too. I know it can be used for many things. But I keep Googling it. The way I spelled it gave me some band. This way gives me a disinfectant. I kept digging and wonder if it was creosote?
