My points are not in support for or against Obama. I just struggle with flawed arguments. So, as to the specific nations mentioned above ... you realize you are comparing a democracy to mostly communist or dictatorships.
North Korea -- dictatorship that is isolated and feels threatened by every country it borders. Iran -- technically it is theocratic republic, but it is also an authoritarian structure so there are very few liberties allowed. Afghanistan -- it is still a war zone. Besides, it is clear that its border actually are quite porous. Saudi Arabia -- is an absolute monarchy that enforces a strict religious doctrine. China -- is a communist form of government. Venezuela -- while technically a republic (similar to ours) it operates much closer to a dictatorship form. Cuba -- another communist form or government. It is also a small, impoverished island so it is not like it is a good destination for opportunities for illegal immigrants or an easy one to reach.
In essence, you comparing the U.S. to very restrictive countries, which skews your comparison. You should compare countries that are democracies. Most democracies have an illegal immigration problem.
Illegal immigration is not a new problem. It has been a problem for decades and decades. It has continued through both Republican and Democrats controlling all branches of the federal government, yet none of them resolved it.
I think it is easiest to compare countries such as the U.S. and Canada. Seattle has many illegal immigrants. Just up the road, Vancouver does not. Why? Because it is illegal to employ an illegal immigrant in Canada and the business is the one heavily fined for doing so. The result, no jobs for illegals. Therefore, very few illegal immigrants.
In the U.S. we can't/won't do that due in large part to political contributions. Too many of our businesses rely on employing illegal immigrants cheaply to allow it. Big businesses too. Think IBP (midwest slaughter houses) to Perry Homes to restaurants to garbage collection.

He has less than 3 months to do something for all the people that voted him onto office. Everyone thinks that only blacks voted him in. Hard to do when that race is only 17 percent of the population. Nevertheless he has been a lame duck president. The highlight of his presidency is the culmination of a plan that my man "W" put into motion by putting a hit on Bin Laden. Just all be thankful that we didn't have a real crisis like hurricane Katrina or 9-11. during this mans tenure. He wouldn't have been able to handle it. It's hard to believe that in 4 short years this man went from a street level community organizer to a state senator to the president of the worlds most powerful country. Even CNN has started turning on his lame duck ass.

Why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king can!
