gentlemen and you too charles lol i said inteligent and polite response . name calling and cursing does not put us in the light we need to be shown in . people that belong to and read these anti sites allready believe we are inbred outlaws and drug dealers . when addressing these people foolish and selfrightious as they are we need to address them in a fashion that should put those thoughts to rest and show them we are just normal folks that are passionent about our lifestyles and beliefs . the undecided folks on these sites will turn a deaf ear to us and our cause if you come off like a mass murderer in your responses . so please when you talk to these type people be kind and thoughtfull . alot of them really don't have a clue what we do , and once it is explained to them truthfully they will respond with a saying similar to [ i didn't know that ] because they had'nt heard about what really goes on and how these trials work and what the rules were . me i don't give a rat's a$$ about a bay pen but i don't want to see it done away with . so in closing just be kind and try and educate the people that don't know . don't go down to the level of the people we are fighting stay above them at all times and if you can't make em see the light WALK AWAY . i love a good fight , but only on my terms .

Halfbreed, i am being normal. Im not gonna be polite to the majority of them. My comments are exactly that, mine. I have learned not to make personal threats of physical harm, but i can hope all i want. I dont turn the other to let them slap that 1 too, i will meet them with the exact same thing. They are the ignorant inbred people, not me nor the rest of yaw on this site. I may not be able to search the web with ease, but 99.9% of the time im not to good to try n look it up, ask and educate myself. Buttclowns such as the 1 that posted and those that agree with out proper research remove all douts of stupidity when they fling bs around like monkies in a zoo. Dub commented that stupid cant be fixed. Sure it can, with tall tree and a short rope. We uneducated inbred outlaw idiots will still be able survive off the land long after them people have died off of starvation

Lol yeah charles is a little stirred up today
Today? Charles I don't think I have laughed that hard in a while. Yes you came across a bit harsh. Did it sound a bit redneck? Well yes. But I loved it. I was laughing so hard my kids came to check on me. If I ever need someone to back me up I want Charles. He will either not be there at all or in it 100% with me.

Before I hit post. I would like to have y'all's opinions on my reply. This is what I have spent a few hours writing, and rewriting, and editing and rewriting.... "I have been thinking on how to approach you on this article for most of the day before replying and can honestly say that I am still having a bit of a hard time deciding upon how I am going to explain this to you but here goes. First off, shame on you. You publicly and derogatorily criticized a sport and lifestyle that you know nothing about using untrue and biased opinions. My cousin and I have a few different opinions on Hog Dogging, however, thanks to you we did come to an agreement on one thing. There is a huge difference between ignorance, and stupidity. A person who is ignorant is someone who does not have knowledge about a certain subject, but is willing to learn. A person who is stupid is someone who does not have knowledge about a certain subject, and is unwilling to learn. I'll let you draw your own conclusion as to which group you belong to. Now, we can get down to the nitty gritty. I have used my dogs to hunt pigs with for most of my adult life. I cannot begin to tell you how much money I have invested not only in the best food that money can buy for them, but also in making sure they are vaccinated, wormed, and have the proper shelter and room to keep them happy and comfortable. I have also spent thousands of dollars in equipment to keep my dogs safe while we are in the woods. Collars, Vests, and tracking devices so that I know where each of my dogs are at any given time, and that they are wearing more, and better armor than most police officers do. Do I compete in Hog Baying competitions? Yes, a few a year, and here is why. First, because I am proud to own a few dogs that people admire, and enjoy watching them do what they were bred to do. Second, because it gives me a controlled setting to correct mistakes my dogs make that could get them hurt while in the woods. Now, you made several remarks on the treatment of the pigs that were so off base that it thoroughly shocked me. First off, I have never, ever seen bolt cutters to remove a hogs teeth. What I have seen is their teeth dubbed, or ground down with a file, much in the same way that the dentist prepares your teeth for a crown filling. Second, as previous people have said, we do not willingly allow a dog to ever harm a hog. You are not only disqualified from the competition, but you are also frowned upon and not invited back in many instances. The hogs that are selected to be used in the competition are treated like royalty. They are given the best food, a wallowing hole, fresh water, and shade to enjoy. If you watch them lounging around, they are pretty happy individuals. You very highly incorrectly said that we allow the pigs to be torn up and left to bleed to death. Well, as I mentioned previously, our dogs are not allowed to bite or attack a hog, so therefore why would a pig be bleeding, much less be left in that state to slowly die? I can say with 100% conviction and assurance that not one hog hunter, or any other hunter, is willing to, nor will allow any animal to suffer in such a manner. It is wrong. You mentioned "attack" dogs several times. I would love to know what you mean by this. If you are saying that the dogs and hogs ignore each other until the dog's owner commands him to attack, unprovoked, then you are very wrong. None of my dogs will even attack a piece of bread on command much less an animal bigger than they are. They catch the hog because they want to, because it poses a threat not only to their own safety, but also to me. They also do not "attack" the hog, they simply hold the pig still until I am able to get my hands on the pig and immobilize it. At that point they should release and allow me to handle the situation. My last point. You mentioned reintroducing feral hogs into domestic farms. This was the greatest source of laughter for me through the entire article. You see, I know many farmers that raise pigs, and they will all tell you, and any other poor soul, that they won't take them. They carry diseases and parasites that domestic pigs are not able to handle. Feral hogs are also no where near the same quality as a domestic pigs, nor will they adapt to a domestic situation. I beg you to do your research, get your facts correct, talk to people that you are so passionately ridiculing before you write another article so bogus, and untrue as this one. If you have any questions, and would like to calmly discuss anything I have written here, feel free to contact me at rivard_meagan@yahoo.com.

ouut standing response . to any and all sitting on the fence on this debate you give a strong response that was well thought out and addressed the issue at hand . that was an old blog from last year and if anybody is still reading it they could get good sound onfo out of it without being offended . i commend you on your effort . that is why i say youse tact when addresing these people for the most part the followers are good honest people that are just blinded and missled and missinformed by the A.R. groups . and believe what they here and not what they see and those are the people we as a group need to re-educate as to what is really true and what is B.S. it's just like till humanewatch came along these followers thought their money went to help shelters they had no idea that the money was being waisted and due to being educated on the manner tactfully they have quit donateing . post your post and be proud of it .

it's ok to put a dog down in a shelter. every time i go to a shelter it's the nastiest place on earth. small pens etc. I would love to see them start a feral pig rescue shelter.... can you imagine it!................"nice piggy nice piggy aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! help! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" between spurts of arterial spray. seriously though I've seen hogs that were fed daily for years by the same person and would rip their guts out if they turned their head. bad thing is most won't tame from what i've heard. I't makes me angry soooooooooo ANGRY ! I think someone should invite to see their domestication operation to show them how easy it is to pet a once wild boar with big beautiful majestic teeth!

I know some wild hogs can be tamed. I had 1 in the house that slept in the bed with me n the wife, i brought her a young boar playmate that was caught in the wild n have him tamed down enough i can almost pet him. Iv takin some adelesent hogs and tamed them down n even had a wild sow that i could let out of the pen and walk her down the county road and she knew her name, knew where her pen was and knew to go in her pen told to. Taming them down from shoats aint hard, just take a lil tlc n time spent with them. Not saying ALL wild hogs can be tamed, but iv gotten 5 outa 7 tamed down enough to handle and accociate with, but all were handled as shoats from racing stripes sized, up to around a yr old.
