Did anybody on here make the cowdog trials in Sandy Lake, LA? Went over today and they had lots of good looking dogs and some good dogs working cattle.

"Bringing the agriculture and urban communities together for a common cause."
"It will be a benefit, more than a competition."

Quotes regarding the event from

Bill Dale- California Beef Council

This is your opportunity to see a piece of action from the old west- the use of a cowdog to sort cattle. Cowboys once drove cattle thousands of miles. The challenge was to handle the herd in an easy fashion in order to maintain the health and weight of each cow.
