Holy smokes these vest and collars stink. I wash mine time to time but I don't figure they are designed for this so I limit my washes. I keep mine in my tool box so they don't get sun damaged and the smell will knock u down. On the up side dont have to worry bout stuff being stole out of that box.

How do y'all manage the smell?

x2...in the box they will probably stink even more...I store mine in the garage so they can air out and dry...once dry I then store them in a box that I keep in my garage for most of my dog supplies...

Mine stinks no matter what. I wish I could get rid of it as well. I hang it up and it don't help much. I was wondering as well if they could be washed

I wash mine and no problem so far. The last cut collar I bought didn't fair to well tho. It will be going back to the maker to be replaced. They changed the material to a looser weave fabric on the inside and it got chewed up.

In all honesty mine have not been on a skunk yet. I know its coming tho. It's just funk from being wet and rolling on the occasional dead possum.

my dog has been on one skunk and she wasn't wearing the collar then. It smells to high heaven just getting wet and being on the dog
