Me and Kyle are to lazy asses I guess you could say didnt get started till about 10.30 am this morning maybe later turn the dogs loose. Horn,Whitey,Bell and Joe who is Horns brother. Whitey takes out to 700 and starts baying we try to go to her but by the time we get there the big boar is on the move towards the big gully and the river.
We circle back around and sure nuff he hit the gully got to the river and was gone. This sounds short but lots of riding to get there.
Gather the dogs back up Horn is still back over there were we struck this hog at am sure on somemore . Dogs hit again this one hits the gully and is gone to the river also . Gather dogs again and this time ole Joe my Horn dogs brother strikes about 200 yds in . Still no Horn he is still on the other side but Whtiey ,Bell and Joe are now all on this bay. We walk in and they got two bayed one big ass ole boar hog and one about 175 lbs bout the time we get there the big one breaks Whitey and Bell go with him Joe stays with his hog and the hog is in the damnest spot you ever seen a big big big ole oak tree blow over and he is in the root hollow and I mean backed up in there with no room atall well thought about sending Bo the catch dog but figure he was gonna get cut up pretty good in that tight spot because I dont know if we could have got to him .
Thought about it for a min are two and just told Kyle to hold
Bo . I walked around to were I could see in the root hollow and Joe backed out some I could only see black at first then the hog moved and I seen the mud spot on his shoulders and I turned loose the best catch dog of all Ole Shorty 12 gauge with 1 oz slugs unsnapped the trigger and boom the hog came busting out and about that time Kyle turn Bo loose didnt know if I had hit the hog are not and didnt want him to get away well the hog goes about 20 yds and about the time Bo hit the ear the hog NOSED DIVED INTO THE GROUND HEAD FIRST ahhaahahha ahhahah aha ha h .
When the dust cleared Bo had caught him self and dead hog in mid air !!!!!!
I wish I had it on viedo it was something to see.
