Take a hot towel and massage her tits....sounds like mastitis to me...that should give her relief and the heat may dissolve the clumps!

Its mastitis..... Go buy calcium gluconate at TSC or feed store. Give her 10-20cc orally and about 3cc of peniccillin. Do this twice a day for 2-3 days. Should clear right up. Dont take the pups away from her. They will help in milking the infection out of her. The milk quality will not be very good but you want to get it out of her. You can massage her bag some to help break it up and speed the process up some but the pen/calcium is the ticket to getting her well.

I just had 2 gyps with it at the same time. I transfered it from one to the other so keep your hands clean. I mix 3 cc's of pen. And 7 cc's of calcium glusonate in seringe and inject in neck skin twice a day. Worked faster than anything else I've done. Good luck

geez yes cracker your vet screwed you on the clavamox . i just double checked and it is still about 2.00 a pill for a 250mg tablet , unles you got a whole bunch of tablets .. i'd find a new vet and then let the old one know what i thought . but find you a new one first cause you never know . i know it takes less than ten tabs to straighten a gyp out , twice a day for five days

ok well this trip cost more than it should and you should have enough left for the next time or did he tell you to give them all ? the 375mg are around 2.25 each . put the rest in your medicine kit for futer use it's a good anti-biotic for several ailments .
