I'm glad he finally got one to mount!
I'm still after one that I want to mount, maybe one day the stars will line up and I will catch one that has it all...size, teeth, color, and a story behind em.

We don't catch a lot of big hogs as our hogs are surviving off whatever they can find in this south Texas brush. They aren't even close to grain field of any type and with the drought conditions we usually have, it's slim pickens for them. So a 200 + lb hog is pretty good and we will get the odd ball at or near the 300 lb mark, but without scales, it's all guess work. The good thing about him was both cutters were intact and almost identical in length. He inflicted some damage to my young catchdog, but nothing too serious, and I think he was able to do that because of where he was at? He was bedded up in a really thick spot and there was no room for the dogs to maneuver. Kinda like a 'fatal funnel' and the advantage was all his for the first few seconds. And I'll post pics when he gets him back. Supposedly, the taxidermists will have it completed in two weeks if cash is paid in full, up front? We'll see about that. I think it will take that long just to get that caked on clay off the hide! ![Shocked](http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/Smileys/default/shocked.gif)
