Ive been looking for me a new truck for several months, and finally found what I wanted at a price better than I was willing to pay. Got me a 2001 F350 4wd powerstroke. I used to have an 01 f350 crew cab dually, but sold it when I got out of racing years ago and no longer needed it to haul my race car. Ive missed that truck ever since. I really have no need for this truck, I just wanted it. About the most I will haul is a 4 horse trailer. Its got some scrapes and dings, but that is expected with a 230k mi truck. and the interior is very clean. Runs like a top though. Its just what I wanted, a good solid truck that I aint gonna worry about getting scratched up out in the woods. All I plan on doing to it is some wheels and tires, some nerf bars, getting rid of the emblems and body side mouldings, and adding some cab lights. I picked it up around 4k under book value on it, so I figure even if I dont like it in a few months, I should be able to get my money back out of it. But I dont see it going anywhere.
