Went hunting last night around some corn fields and brush thickets along a creek and after awhile of hunting finally found some signs of where the hogs had been so we keep going along the creek line and didn't strike anything, so we started back towards the truck cutting across the corn field and then one of my young dogs (rock) started baying in the wood line we just came from the other dogs tore across the corn field and join in. We were on the way to the bay and then it turned into several bays the dogs got scattered across the wood line on the other side of the creek. Turned into a big mess, some of the dogs came back, but there were a few still gone so we got what we could and went back to the truck and got the tracking system  drove around to the other side of the place and finally found all the dogs it was getting late so went head and called it a night put all the dogs up and went home empty handed, now hear the part that really made me mad , I get home and had to go get some stuff from town and on the way home and I talken 3 mile from the house I almost total my wife car there is any where between 15 and 20 hog crossing the road in front of me I had no gun no dogs all I could do is just sit and watch them cross.

Well by god, slap a cut collar on yourself and give em hell.  LOL!  That really sucks.  Same thing happened to me about 1 mile from my house.  Big red boar rooting up my neighbor's front yard when I was headed for work.

Just be gald you didn't hit one!  I hit a boar about two weeks back in my truck on the way to work at 70mph @ 5:15 in the morning.  My truck's steering linkage is still boogered up.  There wasn't even enough hog to salvage LOL.
