Went out to the Koonces last night with Derek, Michael and the Koonces and roaded around some brush for about 45 minutes before Pup (The Koonces dog) and Molly, Brutus and Jack (My 3) rolled out about 500-600 yards and struck this boar. They had it caught before we sent the CD but we went ahead and sent Ocho in for back up. Finally got there and Ocho had ear on this mean, fat sucker and was not coming off. Michael and Austin flipped him and Michael got him a perfect stick. We were planning on hobbling him but noticed that Brutus and Pup were cut bad so we just stuck him. He had the perfect place that he had been living in for a while, it was a thick brush line along a fence with a tank in the corner and a grain field back behind him. We guessed him at about 220-230 lbs.
