My squirrel dog jumped a boar and tried to catch him. Hog caught him under the neck. He's got a cut about 2 inches all the way thru the skin. Luckily it didn't go any deeper. The skin is completely open making the cut basically round when his head is up and it closes when he lays down. I've got a cut spray called Spurrs Big Fix that sprayed on it. I was told by a guy to just leave it open and spray it out often. I gave him some Amoxicillan he had left over from a previous injury. I didn't want to post pics but I will text them. I believe it is fairly minor but I've never dealt with a hog cut and don't want to deal with infection. He will not be hunted without his cut collar anymore. He's just too catchy.
