I like it and I hope it does well. You asked for some input and this is my two cents worth. I would consider changing the name to something like "Tuskers and More" or maybe something like "Tuskers and Working Dogs". This opens the doors to a wider range of subscribers...This way the magazine could have a good story on catching cattle with some good cow dogs, and in the same magazine have a good hunting bear story...of course all articles should be dog related...bobcat, mt. lion, etc. etc...
Full Cry is a good magazine and they have regular monthly column writers, usually about there own breed of interest...they also have stories that subscribers send in...I have sent in a few over the years so just about anyone can send one in

One of the few things I don't like about some column writers is when they take up valuable writing space when they start rambling and here is an example of what I am talking about...
Well, I got a call from John Mahoney the other day and we talked dogs for an hour and Bill came by the other day on May the tenth I believe...no, it was on Tuesday May the 11th at about 7 in the morning and we drank coffee and talked dogs and we agreed on breeding Bell to Banjo and they should make good pups from that cross, oh, he did say that his sister ain't doing well...John, hope your sister gets better soon...blah blah blah...
We need a good magazine for those that like a good hunting dog...
