I am trying to get on with a company. So I am going to go take the tests for a class A CDL to drive combination trucks and take the tests fot T and H. I can study and take the tests myself. But I wanted to know if anybody either had a truck or knows where I can rent one for the test? I was told by one place that the wait to take the driving test was four weeks but if I paid them extra they could get me tested in two weeks. Does anybody know where I can get in faster? I don't mind driving obviously. I just need to get a truck near a testing center somewhere in Texas and get my CDL as quickly as possible.

well I am going in to do my written tests tomorrow. I can get someone to bring a truck for $500. I wish I knew an owner operator and pay them instead.
