I'm PRO-BARR  Wink

My BIL and I went this morning. We found a pretty good track and cut loose on it.  I left my two pups in the box and just let my Pokey dog out on it cuz I was sure hoping it was a Barr hog for the freezer. He worked it out and went about 6-700 yards and I heard him go to barking, wasn't much, probably three barks and it was off.  He bayed up about 2 miles later.  Got close and let my Parker pups loose, figured theyd get some bay time.  They went on in there when we got about 250 yds away and nothing. Few barks and they caught.

I was some kinda disappointed walking in to a hog like this, its better then getting out ran but I had it in my head I'd run across a good Barr's track.  This sucker wasn't big, but he had some good teeth and heckuva hoof on him.  Thought the dogs were bad off the way they caught him, since there was alot of blood, but it ended up being pokeys ear had a cut in it, and its probably still bleeding.  He's gonna be a good Barr hog in the next year or two, maybe I'll get lucky and catch him back up.

Poke A Doke did the ol Rope a Dope on the nutsack.  Just kidding, he's just a bay busting idgit.
