I am obsessed with the process of breeding/training better dogs...
... hogs have become a tool to filter my dogs with. No matter how many, how big I catch, it is only in the "proving" process for each dog that is rewarding to me at this point.
... in an ideal world I would have 10 litters on the ground right now... breeding best type/line to best type/line... keeping the best 1% and culling the rest... advancement/improvement of genetics of a very specific style is more rewarding to me than any hog caught by lesser means.
... some day... some day...
... in the mean time...

... some people have been asking me what I am considering for my next cur breeding... been waiting to see if this dog proved out to my specs... it is Whaler's half brother, just at a year and a half old now, he is proving himself to be a fine wind/trail dog... hunts identically like Whaler... solo dog that produces. He is built almost identically as well.... the stud dog to these dogs is dead now, but there is no mistake the concentrated genetics that he threw.
