The pictures that were taken at night were of a hog we caught on a guys ranch one night when we weren't prepared for anything much but just trying to get the dogs out. When we seen the sow we stopped the truck and as it ran through an open field, it got to a brush line with the pit chasing it, it couldn't see it once it got in the brush. So it sniffed it out and caught up to it and this was our first we had caught with TJR89's pit bull.(dixie) Grin
Im in the brown shirt, TJR89 is in the white.

Got too a small place this morning that is real thick parked the trucks and unloaded the dogs that me tjr89 and bo have acquired. My Blue Lacy, TJR89's two plotts, his redbone, and pitbull, (Dixie,) pit bull, (Babygirl) which all of us have part in, Grin and Bo's dog Knothead, mountain cur. Us three guys and our dogs, only one of which has a lot of experience, the redbone, had walked about five minutes when the redbone opened up and was on a hot trail. With the other dogs helping we finally turned the catch dogs loose and were running through running creeks when we got to the bay we noticed we had a nice sow. We ended up getting the sow flipped and tied and taken all the dogs back and came back and drug the sow out alive to put in our bay pen. It was a real joy for all of us catching our first pig with our first dogs!  Smiley
Both sows weighed about 120 guessing Huh?

Good deal guys!  Sure means a lot more when it's your own dogs you've trained, especially that first one.  Keep the hunting reports a-coming Grin
