This cost me less than $100 but I have a welder to do it myself. Another option would be make one out of wood and dog wire. We basically made a top for the bed of truck once out of plywood and 2x4 that worked. Looked like a bed cover.

3/4" square. I have side mount tool boxes in my pickup and the bed limited me on depth in my big red so I made it to fit both. I have 3 braces in top and I can stand on it without it giving. Corner and center support on each side. I chose all wire because most of my hunting is summer time. During winter I can wrap a tarp or zip tie something around it to stop wind. Mine is 40"x32"x24" will hold my 4 dogs. 3 for long rides is fine.

Tom, did you miss where he said CHEAP!?!?! HAHA, yeah I missed that part. Sorry. Had a guy in Fla. Build it, but wont recommend him. He does really good welding but, had do more work to it when I FINALLY did get it. Hes a nice guy, but I wasn't happy with the way he done business. Ive got $1,500 in it so far, but still gonna have to do more work on it this summer, when it gets too hot to hunt.
