Got the old crew together last night to try and catch a few.  Got started about 830 just driving letting the dogs wind.  Hadn't gone to far when we saw a track I was very familiar with.  I had ran this hog a couple of times with no success.  The track was to old for the dogs to pick up so we kept looking.  Made it to a large pasture full of cows.  Stopped to make sure nobody brought any cow dogs with em when my Belle dog launched out of tje truck like a rocket.  She was headed full speed for a block of woods where the hogs usually are layed up in.  Drove to her and cut the rest of the dogs loose.  When all the dust settled we had two pigs and a sow about 200.  It was still early so we picked up and moved to a different spot.  Cut the dogs loose and waited to see what they could find.  Took a while but they finally worked a track out and the race was on.  Hog made a big loop and finally stopped a little over a mile from where we started.  Loaded up and started driving to them.  Got within 800 yds and ran out of road.  Had to walk through 800 yds of cane thicket which took about an hour to do.  Finally got to them and sent two bulldogs to him.    He was in a small creek and boy was he a hand full.  Got him stuck and realized this was the hog I had ran before.  A good barr and he was thick.  I wish we could of drug him out and got him on the scales but we were to far from any road.  It was a good hunt with old friends.
