Took my 4yo girl an 6yo boy to the camp to ride around an watch the dogs work. I have hunted with dogs on our place prolly 8 times since last summer an never caught anything, but have ran a few so i wasnt expecting much. Just riding around on the ranger letting the dogs run. Found some fresh rooting an the dogs tore out made a loop to 220 yds an started back got to 138 started barking an sat down bayed. The woods came to life with all the grunting an barking an squeeling!!!! Guess they had a sounder bc it sounded like a bunch of hogs. Well they stayed sat at 138 while i got the cd suited up an got everything together. Kids said they wanted to go with me instead of waiting on the ranger so we took off. Kinda hard to get 2 kids an a pit threw the woods but luckly they was bayed 30 yds off a trail. Got close cut the cd loose heard the squeel told the kids to wait i be right back. Ran in flipped an tied it got dogs back. The kids waited patiently in the trail, when i got to them my lil girl was crying i asked what was wrong an she said..."i wanted to hold the back leg" lol. First hog my dogs have bayed in the woods first hog my cd has caught in the woods an first time ive tied one!!! Still cant get over the excitement!!!

Very happy for you.  Great feeling and I like seeing that you take the extra time to involve the kiddos.

They can slow you down considerably but it means so much to them to go.

Great job.
