Shut Down A Runner!

Met up for a hunt with Chase and Chandler, it was nice catchin up on the time between the last time we got to hunt together. First spot we dropped the dogs it was show time, my pepper dogs hits the woods off behind a feeder and 400 or so yards later sounds off.. We were gittin some work for the young dogs so it took a couple min for her to get a little help and we mooved in, chase had been talkin about the running abilities of the hogs on this place and how the hog bayed like it did was pretty uncommon. We eased in to about to 20 yards and cut my Willie dog and chases red catch dog and the fights on, somebody gets knocked off and the pigs breaks but it wasn't long befor Willie found him sum nuts and spun this hog on a straight away and the pit hits to seal the deal! There are both positive and negatives to have rough dogs on the ground with long legs and no bark and this was one hog I'm glad we did! This boar was a bruiser had all but one off his teeth busted! Good dog work all around

The pic doesn't do justice on how long and tall and the runnin gear this hog had. We Didn't stick around long, took his head didn't have the best ivory but plenty of character

We trying we got a couple places in Sipe springs that is plum ate up with em! It's just the hogs traveling so far just to go root up that feild sometimes we jump right on them hogs then sometimes it's miss!
