Loaded up last night to go hunt since the weather was nice, got to our new spot and was shining the light around a hog farm where a guy had been having touble with hogs coming up to his sows and we saw about a 200# lb boar so we cut the dogs out and they caught it right up against where the man keeps his sows, i went back to the truck to take crickett back and get the truck when i heard a dog barking looked at my garmin and it was tiger he was 650yds off and giving it hell so the other dogs headed that way and when they made it there the fight was on, lalo got the hog killed and yelled out that he needed the cut box when i showed up my crickett dog was on the ground and had been put through the ringer but stayed caught the whole time this was at 11:00 last night, called the vet and told him what i had and he said bring him on, he was fine last night when the vet left but got the call this morning and he did not pull through

Sorry to hear that, rough dogs catch alot of hogs but they tend to pay the piper early on.  I hope you find one to fill his shoes.

Thanx everyone he was one of those dogs that in the back of your mind you thought it might happen but then sometimes i thought he caught to smart for anything bad to happen, lastnight we got off into some johnson grass about 7ft tall and that pig went to work, that dog has one outed a 400lb boar and came out with bad cuts but not life threatning and then last night a 260lb boar took a good dog, but more than that he was a good friend he will be missed and now if anyone knows where i can find another gritty dog i will be in the market,
