Have a dog I need in the woods but her bags are still sagging pretty good she is dry but sagging. She is a cd and my longest vest dont quite cover them all the last couple hang out.   Any troubles with this or a way to make them shrink.  My two other cds are cutt and if they dont heal I need her going this weekend

My buddy had the same thing. We got on a boar and she got cut right on one of the bags. There really wasn't anything we could do for her but hold pressure on it hoping it would stop. She liked to have bled out before it quit. Just be careful if ya take her especially her being a CD!

One of my gyps had a litter and ended up getting what is called "mastisis" or somethin along those lines.....it is pretty much when the gyp gets an infection in her bag, anyway my vet prescribed her somthing and I can't for the life of me remember what it is called right now but it was a med that makes them dry up quickly.......maybe give your vet a shout and ask them if they are familiar with it. worth a shot anyhow

take you some vet wrap and wrap them up not to overly tight but tight enough that the wrap wont come undone while just walking . then put the vest on her . you don't need to wrap them all just the ones exposed .  exercise and running is about the only thing that will pull them back up  . no miracal cures for this condition or all our grannys would still look good  lol

if your gyp had mastitis the vet gave you  clavamox . it doesn't dry them up it's just antibiotic  .

I used prep h when i went back in the army. I got a lil pudgy n was 10# ovr weight and had 1" to pass tape test. The nite before i got weighed n taped, i rubbed 4 tubes of it on my stomach and wraped ceran wrap around my gut and i passed with 1.5" to spare.
