First water to hit the ground here since May, it sure is nice to see it rain again. We are starting to lose alot of big trees in the area, hopefully this will keep some alive through the rest of the summer.

its been real dry here to in southwest louisiana ........we getting rain this morning thank goodness .....there has been a burn ban on here for a while ......couple fires broke out yesterday burnt a few hundred acres ,,,,we sure needed this rain .....

I been watching the radar all morning Mike, it is really raining there now and has been for a while, ought to be plenty of moisture on the ground for this afternoon.

Never thought I would be so happy to get some rain. Both of my tanks are down 18"'s, they ought to fill up with this rain as long as the ground doesn't soak up all the water before it gets to the tanks.
Our dogs aren't gonna know what to think tonight getting to hunt with a little moisture on the ground.
